Why Me?
Why this miscarriage happens is beyond our control and there are countless reasons for this to happen.
Some most common causes are:
- Chromosomal Abnormalities:
During embryo formation, it is most common that there was a problem with either the egg or sperm’s chromosomes.
This chromosomal abnormality of miscarriages found more often in women
older than 35 years of age. Unfortunately, there is nothing one can do to prevent this abnormality.

Diabetes can cause miscarriages or the physical abnormalities of a baby. If a woman has diabetes
it is very important to consult a gynaecologist prior becoming pregnant to optimize your health. Chronic
medical disorders including diabetes, hypothyroidism,
hypertension, and autoimmune illnesses need to control down before getting pregnant.
- Way of living habits:
Drug abuse, alcohol consumption and, smoking habits during pregnancy can be a major cause of miscarriage.
Optimizing your health issues prior to pregnancy can reduce your
miscarriage chances. Taking excessive stress can also increase miscarriage chances.
- Blood clotting Disorder:
This cause is rare but it happens. Clotting of blood can be cured and it is not that much common.
Nobody wants to give birth to a child which will not survive in the future or born with some abnormalities.
No parent wants to give that life mark to their child so it’s better to not give birth to that child.
You can detect that something is wrong with your baby in the womb by:
- Bleeding
Bleeding is the most common sign to detect miscarriage and should be brought to your gynaecologist attention
immediately. It doesn’t mean every time you bleed while pregnancy that miscarriage will happen but you need
to be sure about that so it is must that you should consult your doctor about that.
- Pain:
Pain can be another sign of miscarriage and it may be located in the abdomen, pelvic area, or lower back,
and aching to period-like cramping. It may be difficult to tell for a woman that it is a miscarriage pain or
the normal pain that occurs during pregnancy so she should definitely consult a doctor.

second week of pregnancy without even knowing that she is pregnant. Week 6 to 12 are the crucial week of pregnancy
